Pricing and Costs
How much does assisted living cost?
Our monthly rates are: Semi-private room $5,250, Private studio $6,250, One-bedroom $7,100, and Comfort Suite studio $7,200.
What is included in the monthly rate?
Our rate is all-inclusive. The only extra charge is medication administration, which is $400 per month. This is added only if our nurse’s assessment shows it is needed.
Is there a move-in fee?
Yes. For permanent move-ins, there is a one-time community fee equal to one month’s rate. This fee is non-refundable.
Can couples live together?
Yes. Couples can share a suite, even if their care needs are different. There is an extra fee of $1,800 per month for the second person.
Respite and Short Stays
How much does a respite stay cost?
A respite stay is $300 per day.
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes, respite stays have a 7-day minimum.
Can someone with memory loss come for a respite stay?
Yes, in most cases. We can welcome residents with memory loss as long as they do not try to leave the building and are not a danger to themselves or others. Call us and we will talk through your loved one’s needs.
Memory Care Wing
Are you opening a memory care wing?
Yes. Our new memory care wing will have 20 suites. It is a fully secured wing on the ground floor with a secure outdoor courtyard.
How much will memory care cost?
Memory care pricing has not been set yet. Call us and we will share details as soon as they are ready.
Care and Staff
Who leads the team at Victoria Commons?
Our community is led by Kaitlin Corbett, MHA, LPN, CALA, Executive Director, Operations and Growth, and Kristen Domenico, BSN, Director of Nursing.
Do doctors and specialists visit on site?
Yes. Residents can see visiting providers for podiatry, dermatology, psychiatry, and talk therapy. We also work with BAYADA, Spectrum, and Serenity Hospice.
Payment and Insurance
Do you accept New Jersey Medicaid?
Yes. Victoria Commons takes part in the New Jersey Medicaid MLTSS program.
Do you help with long-term care insurance claims?
Yes. We help families with the paperwork for long-term care insurance claims, including for respite stays.
